The bridge sat for a while and
rusted, so we sandblasted it and gave it a fresh coat of black paint..
Even thought the bridge is plenty strong enough, I decided to give it that Warren Truss look by fabricating this at my shop and installing it on the center span. It really is just for fall protection, but adds a good look.
Below: The boss (wife) is operating the crane while I guide the truss work into position to be welded.
